Our founder Late. Sardar Harbir Singh Sawhney founded Harsha brand back in the year 1980 with an idea to manufacture Hard-Case Rubber Boxes for the Lead Batteries in India as the there was a huge demand for a quality product back then. But in the year 1984 our current C.E.O. Mr Harashpal Singh Sawhney envisioned an idea to import genuine battery chemicals from across the globe and become a sole supplier for such products in India. He has dedicated his life in the development of Energy Storage Solutions in India and is an integral part of many organisations for Lead-Acid Battery Manufacturing and Recycling across many platforms. He is an engineering graduate from Delhi College of Eng. having 45 years of experience in the battery industry.

In the Year 2002, we were amongst the first few ones to enter the market as a manufacturer for Bottom Bars and Top Bars for the Battery Industry as Mr. Harashpal Singh Sawhney imagined this business idea to work side-by-side the chemical supply business. He started this business venture with Harsha Industries’ marketing head and loyalist Mr. Hari Chand Baisla and together thew grew H.P. Enterprises to new heights.

In the year 2022, our new generation joined the business with a vision to expand the business network and ensure the continuity of Harsha Industries Corporation in the Energy Storage Solutions Industry in India for many more years to come. Mrs. Guneeta Singh a graduate from Jesus and Mary Collage, New Delhi having a background in leading a fashion jewellery business, joined Harsha as the new Chief Marketing Officer and Mr. Ajay Vir Singh a graduate from Bradford University (United Kingdom) joined Harsha as the new Chief Operating Officer. The idea of future generations joining the business and taking the legacy forward is a powerful concept. The vision together is to blend generational legacy with cutting-edge technology to prioritize ethical practices in the business by selling Genuine Chemicals and Parts for all kinds of future energy solutions.

We have a state-of-the-art storage facility with a covered area of about 18,000 square feet to ensure safe and bulk storage of imported chemicals and battery parts. We have another 14,000 Square Feet Battery Parts Manufacturing unit in Okhla, New Delhi which is for the Bottom Bar and Top Bar business.

We are a debt-free company with 100% financial back-up from our own funds and we remain to be the same, as financial obligation can lead to business instability and maybe a closure in the future.
